RONDO is Michael Harris’s independent editorial practice.

Michael has written for dozens of brands, podcasts, and media outlets during his twenty years in the industry. He’s also the author of three bestselling books, including The End of Absence, which won the Governor General’s Award and was translated into a dozen languages. Command Line Heroes, the award-winning podcast he wrote for Red Hat, was downloaded millions of times and ran for nine seasons.

Organizations in London, Toronto, and D.C., have invited Michael to deliver keynote speeches and he’s been a guest on hundreds of radio programs. As a senior editor, Michael has shepherded dozens of editorial projects at Vancouver magazine and Western Living. His writing has been featured in The Washington Post, Esquire, The Globe & Mail, and Wired.

Michael lives with his husband, the artist Kenny Park, in Vancouver, Canada.
